Test Associate, Device OS Test Associates (DOSTA)

Description

DOSTA org provides testing support for Amazon Device Operating Systems. Primary objective DOSTA org is to provide manual and automation test support.

Over 10 Device OS components will have an extension in HQ2, the incumbent will act as a point of contact (technical) for these components.

Key job responsibilities

• Follow SOP/ predefined test cases and execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on multiple platform
• Raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms
• Responsible for security and maintenance of the company assets, accessories and devices allocated to perform daily operations
• Understand testing procedures, guidelines and policies for new devices and apply the same in day-to-day work.
• Use software tools for validation, analysis and data capture daily
• Capture and communicate test results, escalate failures. Deep Dive on defects identify rootcuase etc.
• Identify improvements that help project key metrics such as productivity, defect leakage, quality in work assignments, errors, mismatches etc.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
• Ability to understand test cases and execute them Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and be able to synthesize the results Strong communication skills

• Experience of testing consumer devices will be a plus.
