Test Assembly Technician

Your activities

  • Test and calibrate.
  • Solder under microscope.
  • Balance Wheatstone bridge.
  • Temperature Chamber operation.
  • Zero and span compensation for Force, Pressure, and Electronics products.
  • Hand soldering.
  • Computer operation.
  • Reading drawings.
  • Ensure product is assembled to required configuration.
  • Operate production equipment, including Force deadweight and Hydraulic, Pressure Deadweight and Hydraulic, and Electronic Digital and Analog outputs.
  • Responsible for quality control; make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs).
  • Complete daily production logs.
  • Perform daily inspections on production equipment and tools; ESD, Calipers, DVM, Etc.
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts.
  • Clean and maintain work area (5S).
  • May perform on the job training to new employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your profile

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to add, subtract, and record data onto tabulation sheets
  • Ability to receive verbal instructions and comprehend them
  • Proficiency at Calibrating process & Test gauges to specified requirements
  • Ability to assemble and inspect gauges to specified workmanship standards
  • Understanding LEAN manufacturing concepts a plus
  • Computer literacy desired, but not required
