Territory Manager (Midwest) - 79184

I work directly with a leading Biotechnology Research company focused on developing innovative testing solutions for a variety of needs including GMO detection and Mycotoxin testing. We are currently seeking a Territory Manager based in the Midwest, to join our growing team.

Midwest Territory: Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania

Location: fully remote, with expected travel up to 50%, including overnights

Compensation: $75,000-$95,000K base (OTE around $140K)

Responsibilities

• Create sales and account management programs for direct customers aligned with product-specific growth targets and overarching brand strategies
• Engaging in solution-based selling of mycotoxin testing kits
• Utilize Salesforce CRM
• Attain revenue objectives through securing new business opportunities while also sustaining existing business, with a focus on a portfolio consisting of several mid-sized accounts
• This role is split 75% new business 25% existing business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Economics, Finance, Business Admin, or Agricultural Business)
• 2-4 years progressive experience in roles related to account management, sales, or customer success
• Experience selling Mycotoxin test kits HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Experience in sales targeting grain merchandising and grain processing sectors
