The Terminal Operator is responsible for safe and efficient operations and maintenance of the Terminal, with zero incidents, maximum regularity, and correct product quality. Follow-up with truck drivers and contractors using the Terminal, and internally with colleagues to ensure safe operations and adherence to all safety regulations. The Terminal Operator is also responsible for the safe receipt, storage, disbursement, and inventory control of products at the liquid terminal.
Responsibilities
Follow up HSE and quality in all daily operational tasks
Follow up and carry out maintenance tasks and document these according to Terminal Handbook
Operate the Terminal automation system to ensure Terminal safety, correct product quality and minimum Terminal downtime
Participate during product imports from pipeline receipt
Educate and follow up with truck drivers and contractors performing tasks at the Terminal to ensure HSE, compliance, and product quality
Carry out SJA and WP with contractors delegated by the Manager
Education/Experience
Basic mechanical engineering, automation, electrician, or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for education
Minimum 1-year relevant experience

Working Environment
This job involves working in both an outside environment and an indoor office setting
Physical requirements include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as well as being able to negotiate uneven surfaces
Must be able to work in confined spaces, over water, and not afraid of heights
Must be able to operate manual valves and can distinguish measurements and increments on a gauging tape or pressure gauge
Must be able to wear and use a respirator
Must be able to distinguish colors
