Responsibilities
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at DePaul University in Chicago invites applications for two Professional Lecturer positions (non-tenure track) with teaching responsibilities commencing in the Fall of 2024.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach a variety of courses at the undergraduate level including lectures and labs for general chemistry, organic chemistry, or biochemistry depending on their area of expertise. Candidates may also teach upper-level electives in the chemistry or biochemistry major and electives for non-science majors.

Required Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Candidates should possess a PhD in chemistry or biochemistry
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching at the college level
Experience working with diverse student groups
Experience teaching both in-person and online chemistry courses
Experience teaching in a liberal arts environment that emphasizes close faculty-student interaction
