The University has recently received external funding towards the creation of a million-dollar Center for Security Studies and Cyber Defense, a half-million-dollar Cybersecurity Engineering Laboratory, as well as a state-of-the-art Situation Room modeled after the one in the White House. The department's two computer labs and Security Operations Center are newly remodeled as collaborative learning spaces.
