We are seeking a visionary Television News Director with a strong management background, exceptional news judgement, and outstanding communication skills. The ideal candidate will drive our news operation forward, leveraging multiple platforms to engage and inform our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the news department, ensuring top-notch editorial standards.

- Oversee daily news operations, including story selection, assignment, production, and distribution.

- Develop and implement a strategic vision for news content across broadcast, digital, and social media platforms.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative newsroom environment.

- Ensure timely, accurate, and compelling coverage of local news stories.

- Coordinate with other departments to maximize resource efficiency and content quality.

- Mentor and develop newsroom staff, providing guidance and professional growth opportunities.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our news operation ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a television newsroom management role.

- Strong editorial judgement and a deep understanding of journalistic ethics and standards.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Experience with multimedia news delivery, including digital and social media platforms.

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
