Committed to caring, Telehealth Nurse administers nursing care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, and ensures the health comfort, and safety of patients. The Telehealth Nurse is responsible for providing quality care to designated patients through electronic and virtual technology to include effective triaging, analyzing telephone questions and concerns of patient or provider ensuring the quality of care and support, communicating with multiple internal and external teams regarding information obtained.
Two years of experience in healthcare, homecare or hospice preferred.
CPR Certified with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare accreditation criteria and standards
Ability to demonstrate flexibility initiative, and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with individuals to enlist cooperation of many people to perform/achieve a common goal.
Requires the ability to exchange routine information in an appropriate manner requiring good oral and written communication skills.
Requires good organization skills, time management, customer relation skills, ability to multitask, and competent with computer applications required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must demonstrate good customer relations skills and a commitment to providing quality service.
Acceptance and ability to demonstrate and support the core values and goals of Agency
Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software.
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of accredited nursing program.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Work environment is relatively quiet and can be stressful due to deadlines, multiple tasks and general compliance of law, rules and regulations. The position requires visual acuity and dexterity, sitting, standing, some pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
