Exciting Opportunity in Tower Construction and Maintenance Industry

Summary
Join our team as a Tower Foreman MODS and take charge of leading tower installations, including antennas and transmission lines. As a certified climber, you will oversee construction tasks daily, ensuring top-quality work on lattice towers, monopoles, and guyed towers. This role involves frequent travel, with the potential to be away from home up to 75% of the time.
Responsibilities
Installation, removal, and maintenance supervision of telecommunications equipment
Positive leadership and supervision of project crews to ensure safety, quality, budget adherence, and timely project completion
Troubleshooting alarms and RSSI issues using provided equipment
Conducting electrical and mechanical adjustments on antennas as needed
Running jumpers and creating jumper connections as required
Climbing various communication structures and conducting safety, defect, and quality audits
Coordinating material logistics, site access, and closeout documentation
Identifying crew training needs and suggesting improvements
Managing tool inventory and site upkeep
Reading site plans and tower drawings for precise execution of tasks
Utilizing tools to perform construction work on cellular sites effectively.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
4-8 years of related experience preferred
Certified Tower Climber via Gravitec Systems, Inc. or ComTrain required
Rescue certification and OSHA 30 required
Proficiency in using PIM gear and troubleshooting
Aerial lift operation training
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Strong leadership and motivational abilities
Adherence to strict deadlines
Ownership of a BYOD policy-compliant cell phone
Recommended Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Working knowledge of Microwave equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and fix connectors and Antenna systems
Expertise in coaxial cable installation and full grounding systems
Proficiency in standard knots and tower procedures
Collaborative team player with leadership potential
Familiarity with Anritsu certification and TMO experience
Past experience with Verizon or RTWP considered a plus
Physical Demands
Lifting capacity up to 60 pounds
Ability to maneuver and work in various physical positions and environmental conditions
Comfort with working in confined spaces and heights
Visual acuity to identify cable color codes
Compliance with workplace health and safety protocols
Active participation in risk identification and management
