Technical Writer

Wenham Carter Group are partnered with a global leader in the development, manufacture, and commercialization of innovative Instruments, Assays, Consumables and Software.

We are actively seeking an established Technical Writer with extensive experience within an IVD & RUO focused portfolio.

As the sole Technical Writer for the business, you will collaborate closely with the R&D team to write, review, edit and summarise both internal and customer facing complex technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Produce error-free reports, customer-facing deliverables, and presentations, including proofreading, layout, and production
• Be responsible for editing and/or writing customer-facing technical documentation, and taking a rigorous approach to applying 'house style' to written documentation
• Produce content and edits for sales collateral including brochures, handouts and other written documents
• Frequent engagement with the Kit Manufacturing, Customer Service, Internal Scientific Support, Creative Team and R&D to ensure document credibility is maintained
• Review and edit client proposals, marketing materials and training documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Life Sciences or Biotechnology
• 5+ years' experience of Technical Writing experience within IVD or Life Science
• Hands-on laboratory experience preferred
