Part-time work, with 100 hours


  • Primary Duties include: Serve as primary interface with federal customer’s Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) to help the organization design, develop and/or update privacy policies and procedures
  • Obtain clarity around specific deliverables, develop schedule in conjunction with the client and the Compass PM, maintain schedule and provide Weekly updates to the customer via Weekly Reports and/or meetings
  • The following policies and procedures are required to be developed/updated:
  • SSN Reduction Policy and Procedures
  • Plicas and Procedures on Protection and Maintenance of PII
  • Policy on Minimization of Use of PII for Testing, Training, and Research
  • Press and Procedures Document on Determining Minimum PII Needed to Perform a Work Function
  • Process and Procedures Document for Protecting PII Used for Testing, Training, and Research
  • Privacy Impact Assessment Review Standard Operating Procedures
  • Privacy Policies
  • Update the Policies and Procedures Pursuant to the Privacy Act Directive


Desired Certifications and Experience includes:


  • Candidate must hold at least one of the following certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals: Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Government or US preferred, Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)
  • Candidate must have recent experience developing/updating similar privacy policies and procedures, preferable for a federal client
  • Candidate must have 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Candidate should have a bachelor's degree (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Strong privacy background with strong understanding of privacy requirements for a federal organization
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and assess privacy risks and recommend appropriate remediation strategies
  • Must be well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks, and be adaptable to change to accomplish assignments
  • Ability to work independently and work with federal SMEs
