Technical Writer

Akkodis has an amazing opportunity available! This role is remote, but candidates in the Mount Prospect, IL area would be highly preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This role is HIGHLY TECHNICAL and would require candidates to possess heavy experience in Software and Hardware instructional guides. There will also be different types of writing projects such as manuals for Nurses, Clinical instructions or other health related technical documentation. This candidate should have strong communication skills and possess and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Write technical documentation to a variety of audiences
• Work and interact with different departments in order to efficiently create their documentation
• Create HIGHLY TECHNICAL work instructions, SOPs or other technical documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in high level Technical writing pertaining to software and hardware development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently.
