Title: POS Support Technician

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Work Setting: Onsite (Irving, Texas)


Summary

Provide technical support for POS and payment solutions, including CLOVER, PAX, Pay Hub Gateway, Mobile, and eCommerce. Offer internal IT support as needed.


Essential Duties

  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot product problems, resolve hardware issues, respond to escalated calls, and support IT issues affecting communication and connectivity.
  • Quality Assurance: Complete initial setups timely, provide installation and product training, and perform research and testing before deployment.
  • Customer Links: Create credentials and provide necessary links and resources for customers.
  • Clover POS: Deploy, set up, troubleshoot, gather information, create tickets, and test new product enhancements.
  • PAX POS: Troubleshoot issues, build files, handle orders and deployment, re-program, collaborate with PAX support, and test new product enhancements.
  • Dejavoo Support: Create files, set up, install, train, provide service, escalate issues, and test new product enhancements.


Education and Experience

  • Technical High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technology experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, verbal, written, research, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.


Skills and Requirements

  • Proficient in Excel for data entry and simple calculations.
  • Able to interpret data and recommend actions.
  • Strong deductive reasoning and time-management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and business writing skills.
  • Critical thinking skills; bilingual is a plus.
