Position Overview
As a Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical support operations, ensuring efficient and effective handling of technical issues, and driving product development and quality control. Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
The annual new product planning and technical resource investment, ensuring the integrity of the product lines on sale in each region.
Overall control of the development progress of new products, and promoting the achievement of new product conversion rate and product delivery timeliness rate indicators.
Organizing market analysis, product benchmark, problem exposure, improving product structure, and increasing product sales.
After-sales complaint management, quality control, risk warning, and conveying quality pressure to responsible departments.
Overall management of spare parts, assisting the business in the development of the spare parts market.
The quality control of prototypes, ensuring the qualified rate of samples, and improving the conversion rate of prototypes.
The planning and coordination of IT projects of the Technical Support Department.
Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support, product development, or related roles.
Proven experience in managing and leading a technical support team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of product development processes and quality control methodologies in the HVAC industry.
Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Travel: Willingness to travel within the US to meet with clients and attend industry events. Ability to travel as needed up to 70%.
Technology: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
