Technical Service Manager

We are seeking a Technical Service Manager to join our Asset Management Team to manage and perform on- and off-site technical and records inspections of aircraft, engines, or components.
Traveling is an integral part of this role based upon business needs. 60%+ travel time is to be expected.

We are seeking a Technical Service Manager to join our Asset Management Team to manage and perform on- and off-site technical and records inspections of aircraft, engines, or components.

Responsibilities
- Perform on- and off-site Technical and Records inspections of Aircraft, Engines or Components
- Provide written inspection reports
- Manage assets on the lease (claims, inspections, delivery, and redelivery)
- Act as an on-site technical representative during heavy checks and shop visits
- Manage technical aspects of asset transactions
- Audit commercial aircraft and engine records to ensure company assets have complete documentation in support of business and regulatory requirements
- Maintain knowledge of Life Limited Records including Back to Birth Research
- Research Airworthiness Directives and required Civil Aviation Regulations (FAA & EASA)
- Work with Airline, Civil Aviation Authorities, and customers as requested
- Streamline work processes by working cooperatively and jointly with the team to provide quality seamless customer service
- Work with limited assistance and supervision, accurately and timely
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, including physical commercial aircraft inspections
- Experience with back to birth traceability
- Experience with reading and understanding manuals
- Critical thinking mind set
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent management skill set of processes and projects
- Able to problem solve and work under tight deadlines
- Basic mathematical skills required
- A&P FAA licensed mechanic, or equivalent preferred
- Borescope experience
