Technical Manager - Spirits and Non Alc beverages

At Mark Anthony Brewing, our Technical Services team works closely with Global and new product development teams to commercialize new formulations with our brewries and co-manufacturers.

Role Purpose

Execute Spirits & Non Alc technical services across US sites, to ensure excellence in packaging Quality for new and existing products through local commercialization of new products, Quality Assurance, and Audit and certification of key Quality Operations, including in LATAM & Canada.

Accountabilities & Impact

Conduct Quality Innovation for US Spirits & Non Alc (liquid)

• Define local innovation specs, approve artwork, and conduct testing across sites
• Conduct innovation trial including assess technical feasibility, and evaluate sensory, micro & analytical across sites
  
  

Conduct Quality Assurance for US Spirits & Non Alc (liquid)

• Build & monitor cross-site standards, protocols, & monitor standards and protocols, ensuring locally applicable
• Support CoE by providing technical expertise and identifying / pursuing continuous improvement opportunities
  
  

Conduct Audit & Certification for Spirits & Non Alc (liquid)

• Audit & certify current & new in-house plants, co-man, co-packers, suppliers, and distributors
• Provide support technical for co-packers
• Support QA CoE with performance data and changes to local protocol & policy needs
  
  

Skills & Experiences Needed

• Degree or diploma in related field (e.g., Distilling, Chemical Engineering, Operations)
• 5+ years of Distillery Operations or Quality experience in a high speed, multi-sku facility
• Expert knowledge of distilling, brewing, current regulatory policy relative to high proof alcohol storage and shipping, and associated testing / Quality procedures
• Expert knowledge of BRC Audit, GMP, and HACCP principles
