Technical Advisor - Customer Data Platform

Summary:

The Customer Data Platform (CDP) Technical Advisor Pre-Sales Specialist (TA) is responsible for growing new license, subscription & support and services revenue for the HCL CDP Product. The TA will match the customer’s requirements with the software and services solution, conduct product demonstrations, execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and prepare competitive analysis for the HCL Product Specialist Sales team (PSS). The Technical Advisor is a customer-facing role that takes a technical solution approach to identifying, progressing and closing both software and professional services opportunities. They will also work closely across HCL Software sales, services, development, support and customer advocacy. This position requires the ability to work independently and take accountability for solution/services sales.

Experience:

Depending on level, the TA should have +5 years’ experience and a willingness to work in enterprise software and services sales. The role requires a 4-year university degree.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Sales Specialists by respond to RFIs, RFPs and internal HCL requests for information regarding CDP Software and Services
• Prepare and present CDP Software demos, tailored architectural recommendations and overviews, Proof Of Concepts (POCs), Services/Implementation Methodology Overviews, and environment sizing for CDP Software
• Participate and contribute to Go To Market strategy sessions
• Participate and contribute material and sales collateral related to the CDP product
• Work collaboratively across the HCL Software team, especially the Sales and Services team, to optimize business results
• Be willing to develop skills, experience and expertise in several industries
• Develop a network of customer contacts and relationships

Requirements

• Strong understanding of customer data platforms and the modern data infrastructure
• Hands-on experience of working with Customer Data Platforms like Adobe Experience Platform Real-Time CDP, ActionIQ, Acquia CDP, mParticle or Salesforce CDP
• Experience with multi-system integration

Base salary, plus annual bonus
