Known for implementing cutting-edge technologies and managing a highly available infrastructure, they are looking for an exceptional Technical Support Engineer to join their dynamic Information Technology team.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in engineering, deploying, and sustaining systems and applications crucial to their active trading environment. Working closely with end-users, you'll be a key player in delivering rapid technology adaptation, and lifecycle support for applications, desktops, and scripts primarily based on Microsoft technologies with a sprinkle of Linux. They’re looking for individuals with a knack for designing desktop solutions, and a genuine passion for technology.

The base ranges from 70-100K depending on interview performance, years of experience, level of education obtained, and skill set. This package will include excellent benefits and a strong bonus.
5 days a week onsite in Seaport area of Boston.
Responsibilities
Offer practical, day-to-day assistance to company personnel
Record, monitor, and oversee user issues to ensure timely solutions
Configure and oversee Windows desktop setups, encompassing VMs, Terminal Servers, AD, DNS, and Group Policy expertise
Effectively manage multiple concurrent requests, set priorities, and deliver efficient service
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in IT support within a professional setting
Profound familiarity with Office 365 functionalities (Exchange, Azure, Sharepoint, Teams)
Preferable background in computer hardware
Essential analytical and problem-solving aptitude, coupled with the capacity to work autonomously
Thorough understanding of Windows 10 OS maintenance
Addressing daily support tickets spanning Tier 1 to Tier 2 assistance needs
Basic proficiency in Linux administration considered advantageous
