Position Summary
As a certified High School Teacher, you will lead instructional programs in a virtual setting, utilizing telephone, internet, and various curriculum tools. Your role involves regular consultation with learning coaches and students to ensure their successful progression.
Key Responsibilities
Provide synchronous instruction and asynchronous resources to support the instructional program.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the success of all students.
Maintain regular communication with caretakers, students, administration, and fellow teachers.
Complete grading, maintain accurate student records, and participate in meetings and trainings.
Develop a thorough understanding of the K-12 curriculum and detailed knowledge of assigned courses.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in relevant subject matter.
Pennsylvania teaching certification.
Possession of all required clearances for school-based personnel.
Experience Requirements
Preferred: Experience in cyber teaching.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in web-based applications and data management systems.
Familiarity with MS Office and Google environments.
Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities
Reside in Pennsylvania.
Pass required background checks.
Occasional travel may be necessary.
