Position Overview
We are seeking two Assistant Professors to join our team at either our San Diego campus or in a remote capacity. The ideal candidates will play a pivotal role in facilitating learning within the Teacher Education program. They will lead webinars, workshops, and orientations, providing educational planning services to current candidates and alumni. The anticipated start date for this position is January 2024.
Salary: $72,000
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate learning through classroom and distance learning environments.
Prepare course materials and coordinate class curricula.
Assess and evaluate student progress.
Provide mentorship and advisement to students.
Supervise field placements and coordinate research projects.
Engage in scholarship and service activities within the University, community, and profession.
Minimum Requirements
Doctoral or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated experience in facilitating learning, scholarship, and service.
Preferred: Valid California Teaching Credential or reciprocal credential from another state.
