Summary Description:

Directs and oversees all US tax related aspects for the company’s US business; lead and manage US tax compliance processes with a commitment to continuous improvement, integrity and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Professional with a minimum of 10 years of US federal tax compliance/provision and M&A experience;
• preferably with a Masters in Taxation or Accounting;
• analytical, tax technical skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate federal consolidated return and state tax returns;
• written and interpersonal skills and ability to encourage a team environment;
• proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and large data management

Responsibilities:

• all US income tax compliance and quarterly estimated tax payments;
• in the preparation of consolidated US GAAP tax provision for US group
• tax aspects for internal and external M&A transactions and conduct tax due diligence for target US companies;
• and implement tax planning strategies;
• detailed US tax research and analysis;
• develop, train, and mentor staff on all aspects of tax compliance, tax research and planning;
• Controversy – represent company before any tax authority and respond to all questions from federal or state agencies;
• consultative tax guidance to US businesses;
• basis and E&P for US investments;
