Salary Range: $157,000 - $248,000 Per Year

Job Description: As a Tax Director, you will play a crucial role in leading our tax department, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, and providing strategic guidance to our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, both SEC and closely held, and to contribute to their success through comprehensive tax planning and advisory services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the tax department, including tax compliance, planning, and consulting services
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters
• Stay current on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated solutions to client needs
• Drive process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the tax department
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required
• Minimum of 1year of experience in tax, with a focus on compliance and advisory services
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and build client relationships
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality client service and meeting deadlines
