Click is searching for a highly motivated Talent Manager to spearhead our growing creator representation business as we expand into the US. Reporting to the CEO, you will play a leading role in scouting, pitching and building our already growing US roster of gaming talent. 


Click is a multi-faceted gaming agency, representing some of the best gaming creators in the world. We have grown into a full service gaming agency (working across strategy, creative, and production) servicing exciting, global brands, who are looking to unlock the significant value the gaming market provides. Based in Australia for the past 5 years, and growing 100% YoY, Click is expanding to open a US office, of which this will be our first hire.


As the lead on our expansion of creator representation in the US, you will be a public face of Click in the market. It is essential you are highly motivated and passionate about the creator economy, social media platforms, and working with creators. 


On any given day, you will be strategizing and scouting for new talent, pitching potential talent Click’s services, negotiating deals, and fostering relationships with our existing roster. You will be constantly thinking about how we can add more value to our talent roster at Click, and driving these initiatives with the rest of the team. Within 3-9 months, you will be searching for additional talent managers to join the team that will be managed by you. 


The ideal candidate will have existing relationships in the gaming industry and creator representation landscape, and have a deep understanding of the digital media market and trends. The right person will be excited by the creativity and hustle needed to take on a leadership role in a business that has a 5 year track record of working with high profile clients in a new geographical market. It will require exceptional initiative and proactivity, an excitement for hustle and hunger for growth. They are comfortable with constant iteration as we continue to innovate on service/market strategy and fit.

Key responsibilities: 


  • Drive Click’s talent acquisition strategy in the US, work with the CEO to determine opportunities for Click to add value to creators in the market, scout and evaluate new potential talent for Click representation 
  • Establish, maintain & manage professional relationships & communications with all our US talent
  • Support your creators in anything and everything related to their careers with Click
  • Manage inbound sales and negotiations for Click’s roster of US clients, and  
  • Track and process deals across our internal CRM
  • Accountability to sales targets across US roster of talent
  • 3-6 month timeline: recruit for talent managers to join the talent management team
  • Provide actionable thought leadership for creating a best-in-class service offering to talent, and work the team to determine how we can turn those service offerings into opportunities for Click 
  • Be a relentless advocate for Click’s talent, and their needs and interests to internal and external stakeholders


Requirements:  


  • Minimum 3 years working with digital talent, and ideally an existing roster of your own talent relationships
  • Demonstrated experience of building a talent roster either for yourself or in your past role, generating more than $1m p/a in deals.
  • Deep knowledge of all social media platforms, the gaming creator landscape, and the media market more generally
  • Demonstrated experience driving and developing internal growth initiatives
  • Experience negotiating deals for talent and working closely with different brand/agency stakeholders
  • Discretion; ability to handle confidential information
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated understanding of the digital media landscape, gaming industry; popular games, talent, esports and trending topics
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
  • A proactive ability to be agile and problem solve for various frequent and sudden changes to talent, brand or campaign needs
  • Ad hoc work hour flexibility
