Your Role This role is responsible for the design and evolution of the company's approach toward career developmental and developmental planning. This could potentially include career path documentation, management of a stretch assignment marketplace, involvement in mentoring efforts, technological tools, and more. You will work closely with the HRIS team to configure Workday to meet the business needs and to take advantage of new Workday functionality, and lead and enhance our innovative year-round employee listening strategy.

Your work

  • Lead the evolution of the company’s performance management philosophy, ensuring we have an equitable system that drives accountability, reinforces high performance, and supports our engagement and internal mobility goals.
  • As the key owner of our Talent Planning process, build and sustain our strong talent pipeline, champion a robust High Potential program, and provide actionable talent insights to senior leadership.
  • Help devise the go-forward offerings for our High Potential employees, ensuring that we make an appropriate investment in this population.
  • Apply a Systems Thinking lens to explore and address potential inequities in our talent programs. Lead efforts to ensure our talent programs are fair, unbiased, equitable, and aligned with company Core Beliefs. Continuously evaluate the impact of our programs across areas of individual difference.
  • Lead the enterprise effort to build out a Skills framework, including identifying and working with external partners, integrating Skills into our hiring practices, inventorying Skill capabilities among our workforce, and supporting the use of Skills in Strategic Workforce Planning.
  • Contribute to our continuous listening approach for understanding employee engagement and the overall experience across the employment lifecycle
  • Support our assessment strategy by recommending or introducing assessments for selection, development, and team cohesiveness. Facilitate sessions and debriefs as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR Systems team to optimize our implementation of Workday’s talent-related offerings.
  • Utilize all available talent data – including reports, dashboards, and data extracts – to glean meaningful talent insights. Make recommendations and implement improvements based on those insights.
  • Establish deep relationships with company executives, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure talent solutions meet the needs of the business.

Required Experience, Education And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Psychology, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Talent Management experience 5+ years leading the development, delivery, and management of Talent programs such as performance management, high potential programs, skill development, and talent & succession planning. and execute talent processes.
  • Project Management 8 years of experience leading complex enterprise-scale projects
  • Change Management Experience in change management and/or continuous improvement methodologies/technologies. An understanding of the key change management elements involved in executing company-wide people programs
  • Relationship Building Demonstrated ability to build and lead strong partnerships across multiple levels with business and HR Leaders. Experience utilizing established relationships to gain support from or influence others
  • Innovative Ability to learn from experience and apply that learning in anticipating and successfully adapting to new, novel and changing conditions. Ability to work among ambiguity and rapidly changing demands
  • Technical Expertise Experience in the configuration and use of human capital management software (Workday, Oracle, SAP) and the use of metrics/analytics to measure and guide success -- preferred

  • Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Management, or a related field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • 10 years of experience applying program management principles and methodologies obtained by coordinating complex projects
  • Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., supporting employee resource groups, mentoring employees, volunteering, joining cross-functional projects)
  • Champions our cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
  • Demonstrates a company ownership mindset, thinking beyond boundaries of their own area
  • Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings
  • Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc

The national average salary range for this position is $136,000 - $152,000.   However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $123,000 - $182,000.  This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
