Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager oversees all talent acquisition functions and partners with business leaders to proactively/strategically identify staffing needs, and recruitment strategies and lead employment branding initiatives. This position is in office.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultative thought partner, leveraging data-driven insights to align talent acquisition strategies with overall business objectives and tackle complex challenges, establishing innovative paths forward.
• Collaborate with leaders and executives at multiple levels, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
• Represent the day-to-day experiences of talent acquisition professionals in Talent Acquisition decision making, ensuring superb execution of processes and experiences.
• Conduct needs assessments to inventory capabilities, identify gaps, and make informed recommendations that will increase effectiveness and streamline workflows.
• Anticipate needs and proactively develop solutions to address challenges.
• Manages and motivates the Talent Acquisition team to drive strategic business partnering initiatives.
• Responsible for resource allocation, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
• Partners with VPHR to gather and manage financial costs/value data regarding all costs associated with talent acquisition.
• Provides regular reports on key recruiting metrics such as new hires, recruiting cycle time, and cost per hire.
• Collaborates with HR leadership to create competitive pay packages for all levels of talent.
• Collaborate on the development of effective onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are successfully acclimated.
• Partners with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to understand the needs of the team and build effective sourcing solutions including researching and recommending new recruiting partners, organizations, and job boards.
• Manages LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms/accounts; ensures Talent Acquisition and builds a network of talent.
• Organizes and maintains current recruiting agency strategy; makes strategic recommendations on agency sourcing partners and builds/manages those relationships.
• Perform other job functions or projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) or more years of progressive and full-cycle talent acquisition management experience is required. Multi-state experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working with ATS (including implementation) and social media.
• Working knowledge and experience with local, state, and federal employment-related laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) are preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a diverse employee population.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
