Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, workforce development, and community engagement. This role will be pivotal in identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent to meet the needs of employers in the Metro Atlanta area. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with the goals of the Skills for America's Future program.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract qualified candidates for various industries, ensuring alignment with the program's objectives.
- Partnerships: Partner with local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations to understand workforce needs and create talent pipelines that address those needs.
- Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews, and reference checks, to ensure the selection of the best candidates.
- Recruitment Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
- Event Coordination: Organize and participate in job fairs, career workshops, and networking events to promote the program and connect with potential candidates.
- Data Management: Maintain a database of qualified candidates and track recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Job Seeker Support: Provide guidance and support to job seekers, including resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling, to enhance their employability.
- Program Collaboration: Collaborate with the program team to identify skill gaps and develop training programs to address those gaps, enhancing the employability of job seekers.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and workforce development to continuously improve the program
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field, with a strong understanding of best practices.
- Strong understanding of the Metro Atlanta job market and workforce trends, with the ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software to manage the recruitment process effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team excelling in both self-motivation and collaboration.
- Passion for workforce development and community engagement, with a commitment to promoting equitable hiring practices.
