Systems Technician

PBG Networks is currently looking to hire a Systems Technician on a full-time, permanent basis. This position must be performed onsite in Wenonah, NJ and is open to entry level candidates. Basic knowledge/understanding of Information Technology is highly desired.

Location: Wenonah, NJ

Summary:

PBG Networks is seeking a talented and motivated Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be local to the Wenonah, NJ office and have both a strong understanding of basic office administration as well as fundamental IT concepts. Most important attribute is a keen attention to detail. Experience in IT Helpdesk and administration in an IT company is preferred, but not required. This role offers an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor and work in a fast-paced environment, supporting a diverse range of IT systems and technologies with extensive opportunities to learn more about the IT business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist IT staff insupporting customers with support contracts.
• Assist with prioritizing support tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of issues and providing excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular health checks and audits of clients' systems to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
• Utilize familiarity with CRM ticketing systems to accurately log and track customer interactions and resolutions.
• Interface with vendors and distributors regarding Build-of-Materials, quotes, renewals, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of assets using asset tracking systems, ensuring proper inventory management and resource allocation.
• Demonstrate ability to learn IT conceptsin virtualization, basic switching, and wireless technologies, and assisting with network setup and troubleshooting.
• Work full-time in the office, collaborating with colleagues and clients to deliverexceptional service and support.
• Travel to client sites for on-siteprojects, demonstrating flexibility and availability to meet client needs.
• Work together with both IT team and administrative team to assist with deployment of projects.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Availability to work full-time in the office and ability to travel for on-site projects.
• Ability to work with ladders and heights.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to assist with multiple projects and support tickets simultaneously.
• Ability to learn business workflows related to BoM and quote generation and input into various systems.
• Ability to build long-termcustomer relationships built on trust and respect for theclient’s interest.
• Present yourself and our company with integrityand professionalism.

Desired:

• Experience with IT helpdesk.
• Foundational understanding of basic IT concepts.
• Familiarity with CRM ticketing systems and asset tracking systems.
• Familiarity with quoting systems, product catalog software, and document organization.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization, basic switching, and wireless technologies.
• Basic Knowledge of server hardware, active directory, Windows server and desktop OS, backup software, and cloud management.
