Systems Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a versatile and analytical Systems Analyst to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of information systems and applications. As a Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze systems and processes, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and user experience. Your role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring that our systems align with organizational goals and deliver value.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to evaluate proposed solutions and make recommendations.
• Develop functional specifications, system design documents, and other technical documentation to guide system development and implementation.
• Work closely with developers, engineers, and other IT professionals to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and configure software applications, databases, and interfaces to meet business needs and technical requirements.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure systems meet functional and performance requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement improvements to optimize system functionality and user experience.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in systems analysis and design.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, adhering to project management methodologies and standards.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role with a focus on analyzing and designing information systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in system analysis techniques, requirements gathering, and process modeling.
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, and data modeling concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
