The Alexander Technology Group is searching for a Senior Systems Analyst for a long-term contract to permanent opportunity with a Boston client in financial services industry. The Role

The Senior Systems Analyst with deliver solutions to business partners and solve complex problems to advance technology platforms. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to multi-task on a variety of assignments across the organization. The role will focus on the Investment Application team and providing analysis, support and enhancement to the team.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with investment professional to answer functional and technical questions tools, data, and reports for systems supporting research, risk management and portfolio analysis
• Provide ad hoc analysis and information delivery solutions
• Design, support, improve, and develop data validation and productivity tools
• Handle production issues and find root cause and provide remediation.
• Identify issues and opportunities for improved methods and approaches to support investment processes
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis - 2+ years in a investment management, finance or trading environment.
• Experience with writing business requirements, functional specs, use cases, and test plans
• Experience with advanced investment data concepts and investment workflows.
• Experience working with Market Data platforms
• SQL and Python experience
• Buy-side investment management systems experience is a plus
