We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Analyst to provide exceptional technical support to end users and assist with Infrastructure and Operations tasks in a Windows/Linux hedge fund environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a passion for rapidly learning and deploying a diverse range of technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide white glove support to partners and business users at the firm.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues for end users, including hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Perform support tasks in a Windows environment, focusing on Active Directory group and user management, with an emphasis on supporting Windows 10 desktop operating systems for end users.
- Escalate complex issues to the infrastructure team as needed.
- Complete scheduled operational tasks and tickets, and respond to alerts or issues arising from system monitoring.
- Remotely install and update applications and operating systems, ensuring maintenance of standard configurations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of standard operating procedures, as well as specific solutions and configurations.
- Assist with infrastructure or operations projects as required.
Requirements
- A university degree, preferably with a focus on technology.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in supporting IT hardware and software.
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise technology, including applications, desktops, servers, networks, storage, and security, along with fundamental hardware and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong proficiency in Windows 10 and familiarity with other core Windows technologies.
- Experience with Citrix or any Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution is an advantage.
- Enthusiasm and passion for technology.
- Proactive approach, with strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
