Job Responsibilities
New position to support expansion of and long-term, IT infrastructure needs
Support global validation and engineering teams in Mossville (IL), Tucson (AZ), Brisbane (Australia), and Bangalore (India)
Overall team is responsible for testing bi-annual Clients MineStar product line used by global mining customers as part of the staffed and autonomous surface and underground mining operations within self-managed IT environment.
Variety of Windows server, SQL, etc. versions are concurrently maintained to ensure MineStar product compatibility across an array of commercially available and supported IT infrastructure
Participate in daily team huddles to coordinate any outage or other change requirements.
Primarily work environment is within client office environment with up to 20% remote work available.
Education & Experience Required
10 years of IT administration and support experience
Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent professional certification (Ex. Microsoft).
Technical Skills (Required)
Windows server 2016 – 2022 administration
SQLServer database administration experience
Experience using VMWare to manage Windows and Unix VMs
Azure or other cloud architecture experience
Active Directory
Windows security certificate generation and support
Network administration experience
Firewall administration experience
Python or other scripting language experience
Windows 365, Outlook, Teams, and other standard office product proficiency
Top 3 Technical Skills
Windows server 2016 – 2022 administration
SQLServer database administration experience
Experience using VMWare to manage Windows and Unix VMs
