For more than two decades, Orange Logic has empowered a wide range of clients with its digital asset management system, Orange Logic Platform. We’ve worked with almost every industry, from Finance to NGOs, Media giants to educational institutions, securing and organizing their assets. The System Administrator works to maintain the company’s remote fleet as well as server infrastructure. Duties include managing user accounts and access, installing software, troubleshooting servers, writing documentation, and working with the Core-Services team to ensure a stable and well performing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manages and optimizes Windows Servers, ensuring smooth collaboration with Linux environments.
  • Manages corporate/internal IT solutions (i.e., SSO, Google Workspace, MDM, Patch Management, etc.).
  • Ensures proper security, monitoring, alerting, and reporting for the infrastructure and production servers, utilizing tools such as Grafana and other monitoring solutions.
  • Plans and implements any integration with third-party systems (SSO, APIs, etc.).
  • Collaborates with the incident team to diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures, as well as identify root cause.
  • Works with the application development team, system engineers, and SREs to make improvements to current infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, RDS, and experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Implements and refines business continuity practices, ensuring maximum uptime and quick recovery from potential failures.
  • Provides capacity planning reports and feedback for problem resolution.
  • Develop routines for end users to facilitate best practices for system, storage, backup administration, and infrastructure as code deployments.
  • Handle Integrations for our customers systems including Mail (SMTP), SSO (SAML), Vanity Domains and network routing (DNS).
  • Handle server patching on a monthly basis to ensure that all systems are up to date and protected against vulnerabilities.


Qualifications

  • Obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in support of cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with configuring and securing mission-critical production servers in both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Advanced experience in scripting, implementing automation, monitoring, and integrating with tools like Grafana.
  • Proficient with Windows/Linux systems and experience with Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
  • Critical thinking skills; ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems without direction.
  • Effective oral and written communications and the ability to communicate with people on all levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, connectivity, DNS, troubleshooting, and protocols.
  • SSO - Authentication, common protocols, troubleshooting (SAML, OAuth/OIDC), preferred
  • Docker - troubleshooting, configuration, and operation, preferred
  • Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS - .NET web applications, is preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, preferred.

Compensation:

The target compensation for this position is $80,000 - 110,000 in most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
