- Troubleshoot system and network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and support.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades and enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in system administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications and experience may substitute).
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in managing enterprise-level systems.
- Strong knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud management tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task scripting.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
