Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is looking for a dedicated Server System Administrator 1 specializing in Vulnerability Management to join their dynamic IT team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within our server infrastructure. Duties involve continuous monitoring, analysis, and remediation of security risks to ensure the integrity and availability of our systems. Responsibilities:

Kforce has a client that is looking for a dedicated Server System Administrator 1 specializing in Vulnerability Management to join their dynamic IT team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within our server infrastructure. Duties involve continuous monitoring, analysis, and remediation of security risks to ensure the integrity and availability of our systems. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and security scans on server systems
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation plans
- Apply patches and updates to server systems to address vulnerabilities
- Monitor security alerts and notifications from various sources and take appropriate action
- Maintain and update the vulnerability management database
- Collaborate with IT and Security teams to implement security best practices and policies
- Conduct root cause analysis on security incidents related to vulnerabilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Provide support for audits and compliance initiatives
- Generate reports on vulnerability status, trends, and remediation progress
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in endpoint administration, IT support, or a related field
- Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM, Intune)
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and endpoint security practices
- Understanding of network protocols and security concepts
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
