Job Title: Senior Vice President, Total Rewards

Location: Remote

Department: People

Reports To: Chief People Officer

Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Total Rewards will lead the global strategy, design, and implementation of Risepoint's total rewards programs, including compensation, payroll, benefits, and recognition initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader with hands-on experience in private equity environments and proficiency with Workday. The SVP will ensure that the total rewards strategy supports the company's business objectives, attracts and retains top talent, and aligns with the company’s values and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Total Rewards Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and compensation philosophy.
  • Design and manage competitive compensation structures, including base salary, short and long-term incentives, and equity programs.
  • Oversee the development and administration of comprehensive benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefits.

Private Equity Environment:

  • Leverage experience in private equity to tailor total rewards programs that meet the unique needs and challenges of a PE-backed company.
  • Collaborate with private equity partners to ensure alignment on compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Provide guidance on executive compensation, including equity and incentive plans, to support value creation and company growth.

Workday Implementation and Management:

  • Utilize Workday to manage and optimize total rewards processes, including compensation planning, benefits administration, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient use of Workday for data management, analytics, and compliance reporting.
  • Lead the implementation of new modules or updates in Workday related to total rewards.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the total rewards team of 10 employees including the payroll team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Set performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure the team meets its goals.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Manage risk by developing and implementing policies and procedures that protect the company and its employees.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with senior leadership and HR business partners to align total rewards efforts with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external consultants, vendors, and service providers.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, CBP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in total rewards, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in a global company with locations in UK, Australia and Canada would be of significant advantage
  • Experience with self-funded plans is a must
  • Experience in higher education is preferred
  • Significant experience in private equity environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday, including compensation and benefits module management and optimization.

  • Proficiency in using particularly Workday.

  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
