Job Description: Seeking a proactive and well-connected individual to join our team as SVP Sales/Director of Originations. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with loan brokers, real estate brokers, and property owners, with the primary goal of originating and facilitating loan opportunities for our private debt fund.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and connect with loan brokers, real estate brokers, and property owners who have potential lending opportunities that align with our investment criteria.
Act as the primary point of contact for brokers/owners, providing information about our fund's lending programs, criteria, and processes.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with brokers/owners to encourage ongoing deal flow and repeat business.
Evaluate loan proposals and collaborate with our internal team to assess feasibility and suitability of potential transactions.
Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and borrowers to structure mutually beneficial loan agreements.
Maintain accurate records of interactions and deal pipeline using CRM systems or other tools.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate lending industry.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role in the lending industry.
Strong network of contacts among loan brokers, real estate brokers, and property owners.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative.
Familiarity with loan structuring and underwriting.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
