SVP of Technology/Hybrid

The SVP of Technology will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for setting and executing the technology vision and strategy for the organization. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive technological innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and drives innovation.
    • Provide leadership and direction for the technology team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the technology infrastructure and operations.
    • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.
    • Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective investment in technology resources.
  • Business Partnership:
    • Collaborate with other members of the executive team to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business goals.
    • Drive the development of new products and services, leveraging technology to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology-related matters with stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and key partners.
  • Team Development:
    • Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering professional growth and development.
    • Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability for the technology team.
    • Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and customer focus within the technology organization.
Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
    • Advanced degree (MBA or MS in Technology Management) preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior executive position.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful technology strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them to drive business results.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience managing technology budgets.
