Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and drives innovation.
- Provide leadership and direction for the technology team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the technology infrastructure and operations.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.
- Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective investment in technology resources.
- Business Partnership:
- Collaborate with other members of the executive team to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business goals.
- Drive the development of new products and services, leveraging technology to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technology-related matters with stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and key partners.
- Team Development:
- Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability for the technology team.
- Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and customer focus within the technology organization.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree (MBA or MS in Technology Management) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior executive position.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful technology strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure and operations.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them to drive business results.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing technology budgets.
