We're on the lookout for a SVP of Finance to take charge of our financial operations. This role involves overseeing finance, accounting, and strategic financial planning. You'll provide leadership and expertise to drive our company's growth, profitability, and long-term success. Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership by overseeing the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
  • Direct the preparation and distribution of financial management reports, including internal and external monthly financial statements, quarterly and annual audits, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Supervise and manage the disbursement department, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Develop and implement robust financial systems, controls, and policies to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support effective decision-making.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts aligned with business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board of directors on financial matters and business performance.
  • Drive the ongoing implementation of financial systems and software applications to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on laws, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance with international oversight and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and interpret financial data to provide insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions, to address inquiries and build strong partnerships.
  • Lead the development of long-term financial strategies and business plans to support the company's growth, profitability, and sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational enhancements to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of financial operations.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to finance team member, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate financial insights, performance metrics, and key findings effectively to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders through presentations, reports, and meetings.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a senior finance executive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with significant managerial experience.
  • Experience with international company accounting and regulations, particularly with Asian/Japanese parent companies, is highly desirable.
  • Strong financial budgeting, analysis, and forecasting skills with a track record of driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Experience implementing internal controls, procedures, and automation of revenue recognition.
  • Ability to think strategically, provide financial insights, and support business planning and decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial governance and compliance.
