Summary
Partner is hiring Sustainability Consultants to work as technical resources as part of our energy consulting team. The successful candidates will manage all aspects of project work related to Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) checklists and reporting, decarbonization consulting, utility benchmarking, climate hazard reporting and property resilience studies.
Responsibilities
Consult with clients to assist them with the development and execution of their ESG initiatives
Provide ESG services such as benchmarking checklists, decarbonization pathways, and/or property resilience studies that meet our clients' ESG goals
Oversee ESG and benchmarking data collection efforts, field visits, and report writing
Perform benchmarking analyses, complete ESG checklists, identify decarbonization pathways, and report on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
Manage a portfolio of ESG and benchmarking projects, delivering them on time, on budget, and with technical proficiency
Effectively communicate with clients to ensure client expectations are met
Plan project activities, update project forecasts, and maintain accurate records of project milestones
Communicate project deadlines and budgets and provide task training, oversight, and QC
Manage external subcontractors
Assist with project invoicing, forecasting, and other project management tasks
Attend/lead internal and external meetings
Identify and communicate project staffing needs and other project issues to technical director
Maintain target utilization rate
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Promote teamwork and champion company mission and values
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Knowledge and understanding of industry ESG standards such as GRI, TCFD, and SASB
Prior experience with utility benchmarking and reporting
2+ years of client and project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in ESG for commercial real estate applications
2+ years of experience with top ESG reporting frameworks such as CDP, GRESB, and UNPRI
Experience developing and implementing ESG initiatives and climate resiliency strategies
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
Excellent math and problem solving skills
Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines
Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision
Passion for ESG, sustainability and energy efficiency
Physical Requirements
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to work outdoors and in unconditioned rooms on occasion
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time both in and out of state
Position requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
Compensation
Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
