Supply Planning Associate

As a Supply Planning Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and the timely delivery of our products to customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Production, Inventory Management, Customer Service, and Transportation, to optimize inventory levels, plan production schedules, and monitor demand and supply fluctuations.

Responsibilities

  • Management of work orders and purchase orders within NetSuite to facilitate production
  • Monitor and issue receipts of purchase orders
  • Organize and manage required paperwork (BOLs, COA's, etc.)
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication needs and other support activities such as:
  • Manufacturing support for scheduling and rescheduling production along with BOMs
  • Procurement direction on material supply plans and material forecasts
  • Customer Service visibility to product availability and recovery
  • Transportation direction and identification of expedite needs
  • Inventory Management and Finance support inventory reconciliation and month-end close
  • Support Commercialization projects and cross-functional needs for projects in various stages of PLM from new product launches to discontinuations


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or related roles with a CPG company; food manufacturing preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and tools (NetSuite, Power BI, TraceGains, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
