What is this role?

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will help Cirkul to continue with our growth in Retail markets. The Supply Chain Team must carefully balance our needs to reduce product costs and risks while ensuring high-performance, reliability, and continuity of supply. In this role, you will interact with members of our engineering, marketing, finance, and operations teams to develop and execute production plans.

What does an average day look like?

• Driving Results: Negotiating with retail suppliers on cost and production plans to meet supply commitments Monitoring our retail material pipeline from upstream suppliers that support our in-house final assembly and fulfillment
• Taking Ownership: Develop supply plans based on retail forecast and ensure that product is arriving on time to meet schedule.
• Making Decisions: Identify cost down opportunities, effectively allocate business to key suppliers, and execute to proposed plans
• Cultivating Relationships: Partner with the Retail & Ops team to ensure forecasts and schedules are updated & accurate. Align on key dates and ensure timelines are met.
• Instilling Trust: Provide frequent and concise updates to internal stakeholders on supply chain health
• Customer Focus: Work with our suppliers closely to ensure that we are meeting customer & business expectations.
  
  

What background should you have?

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or other relevant fields
• Entry level position to gain experience in supply chain and/or demand/production planning
• Proven ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently while ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Fluent in supply planning best practices
• Expertise in spreadsheets, database, and ERP software
• Ability to balance detailed component analysis with strategic supply planning
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex, real life, and situation problems.
• High standards for accuracy, precision and organization
• Extremely organized and able to coach others on organization
• Experience negotiating and holding suppliers accountable
• Excited to source, contact, and evaluate potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and capacity
• Demonstrated ability to work across organizational and functional boundaries
