Join a dynamic team in the heart of Chicago, where you'll play a pivotal role in our Supply Chain Operations. As a Supply Chain Planner, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our inventory and production planning processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative inventory data to drive informed decisions.
Collaborate closely with operational teams to optimize inventory levels and production targets on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.
Facilitate regular planning calls to align inventory strategies with operational and service goals.
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators across multiple business units to identify areas for improvement.
Analyze supply chain data to mitigate risks and maintain optimal inventory levels across our network.
Support capacity planning and production target setting as part of our monthly SOIP process.
Manage seasonal inventory logistics, including onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding.
Assist in reconciling backlog and past-due inventory issues.
Contribute to ad-hoc projects focused on enhancing inventory management practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
1-3 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Operations Preferred.
Familiarity with inventory planning tools and techniques.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of demand planning and operational cost strategies a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively across departments and time zones.
Occasional travel may be required (up to 15%).
