Position Title: Supply Chain Planner 2

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting 100% Remote contract Industrial Engineer opportunity with our client.

Job Responsibilities:

• The main function of a Supply Chain Planner is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.
• A typical Supply Chain Planner is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
• This role will get the opportunity to work on the client application innovation team, take a deeper dive into devices, and learn about product technologies/AI.
• Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
• Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Purpose of the team- The team supply plans for finished goods for client.
• Key projects – This role will focus on the support of client applications.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm –This role will be made up of 50% meetings and 50% supply planning.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Must have 0-2 year with supply planning experience.
• Must have 0-2 years of experience with SAP.
• Must have 0-2 years of Microsoft Office Experience.
• 2-4 years of experience.
• The ideal resume would showcase tech supply planning experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
• Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  
  
  

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract hire
• Location: 100% Remote
• Pay Range: $34.50 -$41.50/hr.
• An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
• ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C.
