The Role:

We are looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager to plan, organize and carryout the procurement and logistics process for large scale renewable energy projects in the United States. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will manage relationships with carriers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective and efficient transportation of goods. You will also be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services across multiple locations nationwide. This role ensures that the company obtains quality products at competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor relationships and adhering to company policies and procedures. In this position, you'll spearhead our supply chain and logistics operations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust business strategies. Your responsibilities will include inventory management, operational analysis, and fostering strong partnerships with vendors and suppliers. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of project management expertise, alongside exemplary leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire procurement process, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Deep Understanding of Supply Chain Processes: Proven expertise in supply chain management, inventory management with a keen understanding of industry best practices and processes.
• Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to independently execute tasks and escalate issues as needed.
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with strong project management capabilities to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of influencing and guiding team members to achieve collective goals.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain management or large-scale purchasing activities with a demonstrated track record of leadership.
• Strong proficiency in inventory management software.
• Experience in RFQ/RFP processes is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a sense of urgency to address operational challenges
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
