The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for driving S&OP strategies, cost containment, and supplier performance across Ducommun. They oversee all aspects of the supply chain process, providing leadership and direction to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.
Key responsibilities:
Developing and managing supply chain strategy for customer satisfaction
Leading supplier development and commodity strategy
Managing materials and services acquisition at the lowest cost
Selecting, evaluating, and managing suppliers
Ensuring forward-looking supply chain processes and execution
Supporting company core values and utilizing the Ducommun Way methodology
Collaborating for continuous assessment and business improvement
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for driving standard S&OP, supply chain strategies, cost containment, and supplier performance across Ducommun Way methodology to achieve objectives.
The individual oversees all aspects of the Supply Chain Management process, providing leadership and organizational direction for the comprehensive supply chain function across strategic business units/operations centers. Their scope of leadership entails supply chain strategic/tactical planning and execution activities associated with all related business processes, from backlog order entry through to customer receipt of products, to ensure that quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.
Must-have qualifications include:
Experience in Supply Chain Management within the Aerospace and/or Defense industries
Experience in manufacturing electrical components
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Demonstrated leadership of teams
