Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of order processing, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping preparation, and logistics coordination. The Supply Chain Manager will act as the primary bridge between sales and operations, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the sales and operations teams, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with sales forecasts and customer demands.
  • Order Fulfillment: Oversee daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and utilize warehouse management system (WMS) software to optimize warehouse and fulfillment operations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and prevent inventory shrinkage. Oversee receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of materials to ensure on-time delivery to customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.
  • Production Control: Develop and implement a production control and planning system aimed at meeting or exceeding customer expectations and balancing manpower and machine requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order execution systems to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals.
  • Vendor Management: Optimize procurement and vendor management strategies to improve lead times and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a dynamic team of production supervisors, full-time and part-time warehouse staff, and other direct reports. Implement production planning strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency, minimize lead times, and ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Production Scheduling: Collaborate with production teams to schedule production runs based on demand forecasts and inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Performance Monitoring: Report weekly on multiple fulfillment and performance KPIs, providing data-backed updates to senior management to improve order fulfillment SLAs and vendor performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Support efforts to attain certifications (such as ISO) for quality in installation, production, and customer experience, including knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase.
Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role, with at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
  • Skills:
  • Proven analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and inventory/warehouse management systems.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent business-level communication skills (oral and written).
  • A strong customer-oriented focus.
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach, able to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Language: Bilingual English-Spanish is preferred.
