Compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $100,000-$120,000 annually. All applicants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute plans to deliver cost savings and negotiate new supply contracts.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to support supply chain goals.
  • Facilitate the resolution of difficult issues and disputes between the company and suppliers.
  • Resolve invoicing issues and negotiate back charges to suppliers due to issues such as non-conforming material, late delivery, etc.
  • Develop supplier quality processes that include supplier certification.
  • Conduct supplier on-site audits.
  • Develop assembly schedule and capacity planning.
  • Monitor ship/delivery dates on incoming sales orders, projects, customer returns and material flow.
  • Expedite shortages to shop floor and project needs to jobsites.
  • Prepare and monitor reports on key performance indicators.
  • Evaluate and analyze problem areas and recommend procedures to correct.
  • Develop and manage timely delivery of material and schedules to support management goals for inventory, customer service levels and project needs.
  • Actively involved with project non-compliance issues regarding material.
  • Providing support when needed for material estimates for potential projects being quoted.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, materials management, and/or supplier quality audit/management in technical engineered-to-order manufacturing.
  • ERP software proficiency and strong usage background.
  • Strong problem-solving capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills in a professional setting.
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing philosophy and work environment preferred.
  • ISM CPM/CPSM and/or APICS CPIM designation preferred.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to take and successfully pass a drug test.

This is a full-time position based in Tacoma. Compensation is competitive, including salary, bonus potential, health plan options, competitive 401K match, and paid time off.
