We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill a Supply Chain Manager role. Responsibilities include direct communication with employees, management, customers, subcontractors, and vendors. This successful individual must be well organized, possess great multi-tasking capabilities, and can think on their feet, making decisions quickly. This person will manage a team accountable for the supply chain life cycle and operational support at Anguil Environmental Systems, including purchasing, material planning, shipping & receiving, logistics, warehouse/stockroom, and facilities management.
Duties & Responsibilities
Fundamental duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead, coach, and direct the work of the team.
Develop, manage, and report appropriate business metrics (KPIs) and analytics.
Manage supplier base, including scorecard development, performance monitoring, corrective action, new sourcing opportunities, and buyer assignments.
Assist in planning and analyzing projects with the project team to establish schedules and set priorities to accomplish planned objectives.
Maintain bill of materials (BOM) status throughout project lifecycle and shortage reporting to stakeholders.
Warehouse/stockroom organizational improvements and yearly physical inventory count.
Manage and prioritize shipping requests for spare parts orders, domestic and international shipments of large capital equipment projects, and drop-ship orders from suppliers to Anguil and sub-contracted fabrication shops.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues (e.g., delays in delivery, parts damaged in transit)
Implement a purchase order approval process within the ERP.
Create and develop capital equipment project procurement plans.
Develop strategies for remote and international manufacturing opportunities.
Owns departmental process and continuous improvement efforts.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, or similar field
10+ years directly related experience as a supply chain manager, operations manager, or similar role in a manufacturing environment
Experience with export compliance and international logistics
Significant experience in purchasing and material planning
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and supplier management/negotiations
Warehouse management experience a plus
Experience in custom capital equipment industry preferred
Experience with TrackVia (workflow management) and Infor Visual (ERP) a plus
Strong organizational and project management skills
Creative individual with progressive problem solving, root cause, and continuous improvement mindset
