Role Overview
As a Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist I, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, external partners, and transportation providers. Your main responsibility will be to ensure timely and efficient deliveries of our products. You'll work closely with sales teams and manufacturing units, leveraging your expertise to optimize transport routes and carrier selections.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate transportation services across various divisions.
Analyze shipment volumes to enhance transport efficiency.
Utilize transportation management systems to track and manage shipments effectively.
Respond to inquiries from sales and customer service teams regarding shipment details.
Ensure compliance with carrier requirements and contractual agreements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
Required Qualifications
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in transportation logistics or related field.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS).
